As COVID-19 rocks the world, we are, unfortunately, seeing a plethora of small businesses being forced to close their doors, some permanently and others temporarily. This, of course, includes vegan businesses, and Long Island is no exception. From restaurants to salons, if you follow some of them on Instagram, you’ve probably come across several posts announcing temporary closings (and hopefully ways you can support these businesses during this time).
Luckily, some restaurants are staying open, offering delivery and takeout, which means Long Island vegans can chow down on some delicious plant-based food and support local businesses.
This is a crazy time – so, if you’re able, why don’t you treat yourself or someone else to something nice and show your love to a Long Island business or two? If you’re looking for food on LI right now, check out some of the places below!
